Typical Job Positions at Office Environments
Dealer Interior Designer
Description: A Dealer Interior Designer is an important member of the dealer’s team. They support the sales team and customers by producing the specifications and drawings used by the salesperson to close the sale, the CSR to place the orders with the manufacturers, and the crew that installs the furniture. A contract furniture dealer depends on their designers to work efficiently and accurately to meet the demands of our projects and clients.
Dealer Project Manager
Description: The Dealer Project Manager supports the dealership by working with the sales team and the operations team to make sure every project is completed on time and within the budget and that the client is happy with the end result. The PM is essentially responsible for the logistics of a project and the more organized they can be before an installation begins, the better the project will be for the customer. Many Dealer Project Managers have an interior design degree. The PM role is very mobile. The PM often works in the field, on job sites, and interacts with clients daily.
Dealer Sales Representative
Description: The Dealer Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships on behalf of the dealership. Dealer Sales Representatives may call on clients in every market or they may specialize in vertical markets like Healthcare, Commercial, or Government sales. They also call on design firms and build relationships with both architects and interior designers. The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and executing the business opportunities that result in sales.
